A 22-year-old driver fatally strikes two pedestrians in Queens

Police said the motorist was traveling on the Queens Boulevard Service Road just before 7:30 a.m. when he hit the two men — a 58-year-old and 41-year-old.

Police say the deadly crash occurred on the Queens Boulevard Service Road near Van Loon St. in Elmhurst.

A motorist fatally mowed down two men in Queens early Monday, officials said.

Police said the 22-year-old driver was traveling on the Queens Boulevard Service Road near Van Loon St. in Elmhurst just before 7:30 a.m. when he hit the two pedestrians.

One of the men, 58, died at the scene, officials said. Paramedics rushed the second man, 41, to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he died an hour later.

The driver remained at the scene, officials said.

Cops were investigating the crash Monday morning.
