Two people were struck by buses in separate incidents Friday along Second Avenue, officials said.
A woman in her 40s was struck by an MTA bus as she was pushing a shopping cart across 26th street a little after 10 a.m. FDNY and MTA officials said.
The M9 bus apparently hit the woman’s cart as it was turning left onto Second Avenue from 26th Street, knocking the woman to the ground. She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.
A man was later struck by a bus further north on Second Avenue near 79th Street, Fire officials said. He was also rushed to Bellevue with unknown injuries.
An MTA spokeswoman could not immediately confirm that the second incident involved an MTA bus.
